UNSOLICITED ADVICES
2020

Inspiration for this three-piece series, titled Unsolicited advices, arose from something I learned from three different personal relationships. It always annoyed me when people tried to solve my problems, until somebody pointed out that I am often the one handing out unsolicited advice.

TRIP

In this piece, the tent is a metaphor for escaping reality (represented by the terrace of a house). In the summer, somebody asked me: »Do you really wish to live in a tent, when you have such a beautiful flat?«

FEARLESS

The second piece was inspired by the following question: »What would you do if you were not afraid at that moment?«

FADING

After losing someone we care for, we often remember the missed opportunities to appreciate that person more.
